Mark R. Griffith, born February 20, 1952 passed away August 1, 1998 as a result of an automobile accident. He attended Southwest Minnesota State College for one year before moving to Florida where he lived for several years. He had been a resident of Spencer, Iowa for the last 15 years. Mark is survived by two daughters: Shaeli and Alissa.

Resident of Underwood, died Thursday, April 26, 2018. She was born on September 8, 1952, to Edward and Barbara (Overmann) Kirk in Minneapolis, MN. Stephanie attended Ethel Baston Elementary School and graduated from St. Louis Park High School in 1970.
Stephanie had a successful dog grooming business in the Battle Lake area from 2006 through December 2017. Prior to that, she had been a bartender in Minneapolis for 30 years.
Travel was Stephanie’s passion. At home, she loved gardening, always anticipating her first home grown tomato. She loved reading and playing with her many pets.

Barb worked as a social worker for Polk County, and has worked at Baldwin Area Medical Center for over 20 years.
Barbara LaVigne of rural Star Prairie left us unexpectedly on July 20, 2013 at Regions Hospital, after the sudden onset of serious health issues.
Barbara Joanne LaVigne was born February 4th, 1952, in Stevens Point, WI, to John and Margaret Hougdahl. She attended school in Colfax through her sophomore year, and graduated high school in St. Louis Park, MN. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in social work.

Wendy was born in St. Louis Park to Leon and Elaine Lerner and graduated from St. Louis Park High School, where she was known for her laughter and her smile.
Wendy was a keen businesswoman. Her sharp intelligence and sense of adventure served her well. With no entrepreneurial experience, based on her love of plants and flowers, she founded a shop that thrived for quite some time. She then co-founded a business that refurbished hotels around the country.

Funeral services for Nancy R. Mack, 65, of New London were held July 23 at the Jehovah Lutheran Church in St. Paul.
Nancy died on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
Nancy Rebecca Mattila was born March 1, 1952 at the then Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, the daughter of Edward Mattila and Ardis Mattila. She graduated from St. Louis Park High School and attended St. Cloud State University. Before her retirement, she worked as a law office administator and a software sales representative. She was an expert gardener, a professional-level cook and a superb editor. She lived with her husband, John Mack, in New London until her death.
