Comment: I thought people who were 60 were really, really old until I reached that age....guess not!! I feel young...and when I look into the mirror I just take off my glasses ;-) That seems to work! I think being an only child has really helped me bounce back from losing my Bob after 38 years. I have to say I am thriving and enjoying my new life. Being a Grandma to four wonderful Grandchildren is the icing on the cake. My plan is to enjoy each day and love my family and friends.

Update: I met a wonderful man on christianmingle.com. We dated for three years and got married last fall. My sixties are the best yet, I feel young and head over heels in love again!! I guess never say never....the best was saved for the last <3

Comment: I have been married to David, my best friend going on 38 yrs.  We have two sons (Christopher 36 & Ben 34).  They enjoy living as bachelors - so no grandchildren - just two grand puppies!).  I recently retired from the Robbinsdale School District after 22 yrs. of employment as a curriuculum & administrative assistant.  David is a pharmacist and currently supporting my retirement lifestyle which I love!  We lived in St. Louis Park up until just five years ago - both our sons are SLP grads as well.  We now live in a townhouse on a golf course in Brooklyn Park.  We love to travel, play golf, read, spend time with family and friends and I am in a number of different card clubs (bridge, 500, poker).  All in all life is very, very good and I look forward to seeing you all at our 40th reunion.
