Hello Dear Classmates, 50 years. . . My arthritis, hips, back and mirror all say "67" - my head says "nope" and my 6-year old granddaughter believes I'm 29. 10 years ago I asked if anyone had seen my keys and I'd like to add: my purse (usually hanging on my arm) my phone (I'm talking on it) the grocery list (in my pocket so I won't forget) my glasses (wearing them) |

I had the best time at Park, the proms, Friday night dances, Sadie Hawins, SHE. Homecomeing (Oct 13 1968) I have so many great memories from high school. Meeting up with friends at our lockers. Without that special guy in my life it would have been hard to say this. At that time he was my world. I married my husband Tom in 1976, we have 3 kids. One is a police officer, a teacher and a sheet metal worker. We have 5 grand children who are so much fun. We camp in the summer with family and friends. Winter we go to Floridia for a couple of weeks I was able to do my dream job for eight years as a flight attendant for Ryan International Airlines. Did lots of trips to Mexico, Florida and Vegas. Best part was all the people I was able to meet In 2015 I was diagnosed with lung cancer, I am here today because of lots of prayer. From January 2016 thru March I did chemo and radiation everyday. Was a lot to go thru but I made it, I called it my bump in the road, with prayer and hope you can get thru anything My plan is to help as many people get thru sickness like I did. Get as many people as you can to pray, and never give up on HOPE |

What life lesson would you most like to share with others to remember you by?: Come out of being so shy that it's hard to talk to anyone
Any big reveals before we get to the end of the book?: It still exists!
Name a jingle from your childhood that still pops into your head today.: Happy happy birthday to every girl and boy hope this very special day brings you lots of joy
If you could do it all over again, what would you do?: Try to hang on to what I had, not just let it walk away....especially without talking it out
What advice would you give a 15-year-old just starting high school now?:
Enjoy your life. You only go around once. Be true to your self. Respect yourself Respect who you are as a woman God is in control |

Greetings Everyone! I have been very fortunate to live a "Split Personality" life as a Director of Finance by day and a Professional Cellist by night (and many days too!). My wife Nanette does the same....as a Professor of Classical Languages at Macalester College and a Professional Violinist/Violist. Together we have performed with the Minnesota Sinfonia as well as for touring and local productions at the Ordway, Orpheum and State Theaters for the past 25+ years. We have also been incredibly fortunate to back up many world-famous music stars, such as The Who, Led Zeppelin, Moody Blues, Rod Stewart, Aretha, Ray Charles, etc. Nanette and I play in a rock band called Echo, with the same people I was playing with 50 years ago, even at some Park High dances. We have a website at www.Echobandmn! I have twin girls (almost 41 now-that's scary..) from my first marriage and we have lived in SLP one block from my 1970 residence for the past 31 years. Can't wait to see all of you youngsters again! |

Occupation: | Real Estate Management |
Comment:
After graduating from Park High I got a degree in business from Drake University. I worked for 3M Company for a few years in Cedar Rapids, IA & Hartford, CT. I returned to Minnnesota and got active in the real estate management business and continue in that field today. Throughout my life I have been involved in volunteer organizations. Today I am active in the Twin West Chamber of Commerce and a boating group called the Minnetonka Power Squadron. I love being around water. I guess that goes back to my days on the Park swimming team. I am on our 40 year reunion committee and look forward to seeing everyone on August 21st. |
