Tom Dulebohn

Update: Sadly there never was a Celebration of Life for Tom. First it was rescheduled two weeks later for June 28th. Then it was cancelled. Tom's wife Barb died in the last two weeks from a fall. She had learned she had cancer just three weeks before she died.

Reminder: There is a Celebration of Life for Tom on June 28th in Victoria. If you go to our Facebook account and put Tom Dulebohn in the search it will bring up the link with all the information. I grew up a few houses down from Tom. His brother Mark and I were childhood good friends so I saw Tom often, but he did not really hang with us. Tom had a quick wit and was fast on the draw! He always had something to say, but waited for the perfect time to say it. Tom died from complications from Crohns disease and kidney failure. Tom battled Crohns disease starting at a very early age until he passed. He had all but two feet of his small intestine removed due to Crohns. You cannot live without at least two feet of it. As our medical breakthroughs progressed he managed his Crohns disease better later in life. Recently, he developed kidney failure according to his brother Mark. At that point, Tom said "I'm done!" and would not do dialysis.
