Dear SLP Class of 1970, Today our class lost a classmate who was a true shining light of the class of 1970. Maggie Bearmon passed away today. It was her birthday. She had been hospitalized for at least the last three weeks. For those of us lucky to know Maggie, our world got a little darker today. No smile to light up a room, no positive comment to push you forward, no big ear to listen to your problems and no one making sure that you were ok. She tried to see the good side of everyone. Maggie was a very good person. Rest in peace Maggie and thanks for being who you were.
