Kay Marie Houdek, 61, of Laporte, MN, died Monday, October 14, 2013 at her home.
A gathering of friends & family and potluck to celebrate Kay's life will take place at 5:00 pm Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Frohn Town Hall near Bemidji, MN. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji assisted the family.
Kay was born January 13, 1952 in Crystal, Minnesota, the daughter of Neon and Lorraine (Walz) Houdek. She was raised and educated in St. Louis Park, MN.
She married Greg Gasman in Nov. 26, 1982 in Bemidji.
She is survived by her husband – Greg Gasman; 2 sons - Dustin (Jessica) Gasman Shyler Gasman; father – Neon Houdek; sisters- Karen (James "Bo") McCarter, Bambi (Duane) Goodwin, Gale (Ken) Garin, Nancy Houdek; brother- Rod Houdek; numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
