I was in the same boyscout troop as Mark going all the way back to the Cub Scouts.  I can remember Mark as the bugler of the Boy Scout Troop.  Up at ManyPoint Scout Camp he refused to get up and blow his bugle in the morning unless someone got up and warmed it up first in a pail of water over the fire.  What a prankster he was!  And laugh, could he make you laugh!
