Joan Chazin - Esterkin
1952-03-10 2006-10-20Joan and I were very good friends back in high school and college. We used to drive around with my CB and talk to the truckers. Joan did a perfect Mae West impersonation. The truckers chuckled and we roared in laughter. There were many similar stories. I'll never forget her smile and laugh. Sadly, I just found out about her passing about an hour ago. I am stunned and shocked, and deeply saddened by this awful news. May you rest in peace, my dear old friend. God is lucky to have you near him now.
tribute by Jeff LissWhile working at Laventhol & Horwath back in the 80's I worked on the account involving Joan's fathers Norm Chazin. Norm and "Joannie" as she liked to be called, were the nicest people. Recently, I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with Joan's husband, Neil. Must have rubbed off because Neil is just as nice!
