Enjoying retirement--Pickleball and yoga keep me active. I enjoy volunteering as a way of giving back, meeting people and learning new skills.   During the school year, I spend 4 mornings a week assisting in a kindergarten classroom. In addition, I am a member of Plymouth CERT (Community Emergency Response Tearm) and participate in numerous activities through Plymouth's volunteer program.

Life is great!
What advice would you give a 15-year-old just starting high school now?: Be true to yourself.

Comment: Post SLP, I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus, worked a couple of years, and then went to the University of Minnesota where I earned my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology.  Moved to the University of Oregon where I was a professor of School Psychology and Special Education from 1984-2003.  Needless to say, if you haven't been to Eugene, OR, it's "different" in both good and funny ways.  In 2003, our family moved to the Lake Forest area of Chicago where I joined National-Louis University and consult with publishers and school districts around the country on evidence-based practices.  I have 3 boys covering the ages of 24 (Peter, living in our basement Bat Cave)

Comment: Hello Classmates, just wanted to say the reunion was great and it was good to see everyone again. Thank you for all of you that put in the long hours and many many months to make it a success.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered come with me. With tearful eyes we watched and saw you pass away although we love you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.. put this on your status if there is someone in heaven you will miss this Christmas

Comment: UPDATES:  Up to 11.5 bikes now.  Had a quad bypass in Feb 2017.  Wondering where the last ten years went!  Almost retired.  Still playing the largest casino in the country, the stock market.  Holding off on Social Security as long as I can so far trying to get to age 70.  Going to have to move south for the winters pretty damn soon after this last winter (-24 degrees)!  Good God not much has changed in my life!  Bought a convertible for the first time in my life, that ought to count for something!  Took me 67 years to figure out women love them!  Oh well!  My daughter Lindsey is a fifth degree black belt!
