It's been so great catching up with so many of you at the Park Tavern! I occasionally drive by SLPHS and the house where I grew up - to get a shot of nostalgia now and then.In a former "life," I taught high school Spanish for 5 years after graduating from Gustavus, and then assimilated into a variety of corporate positions. Left that world in 2002 to start my own consulting practice. In 2014, I was hired as an HR Director at a small medical device company - from which I retired in early 2016. Kevin and I winter in Scottsdale where we've found a great circle of friends, and we enjoy hiking, golf, the mountains, and weather! Send Rita a Message

Life changed for me in 1985 by a beer truck. My undergraduate college training of theatre, photography and journalism could no longer be pursued with a visual impairment. With that chapter closing, I pursued graduate training to become a teacher of the blind and visually impaired. Taught children who are blind and visually impaired for 20 years. Now, I have chosen to follow my passions and am a yoga teacher. I met my soulmate who took one of my yoga classes and now can say it was worth waiting for him. Never mairred, but am happy to be in this committed relationship!! Woo Hoo. Life is Good.

I worked for Prudential from 1970-1999 when my work moved out East. After that I worked a few hours a week working for an owner of a Salon getting my boss organized for the week. I now spend time golfing with friends. My husband, Charlie and I spend 3 weeks in March with my sister and brother-in-law at their house in Florida. In May we meet them in Hawaii for almost 3 weeks. After high school I went to U of M for a year, got married, moved to Winnepeg, got divorced, moved back home, worked at Shopper's City, back to U of M, got a BS in nursing, worked at Abbott Hospital, then Abbott-Northwestern-Sister Kenny. During that time back home I was in a performing Israeli dance group. I met my current husband at the U of M and in 1981 I moved to Israel and married him. We had 2 boys there and a girl when we moved back to Minnesota in 1989. We lived in St. Louis for a year and a half then moved to the Washington, DC area in 1991. I currently work in a hospital and a Jewish day school as a nurse. The boys just graduated college this past year and my daughter moved to Israel. After High School:--Since my birthday drew--Number 2 in the military lottery-----spent 4 years in the Air Force. (One of the best things that happened to me!!!!!) --Attended Junior College in Spokane, Washington. --Have two boys (ages 33 and 29.) --Finally married to an Awesome Woman!!!!! (She has a girl--24 years old.) --Was a firefighter for 32 years. (Forced to retire due to age. Thank God for retirement!!!!!!) Send Glenn a Message

Life is good - I have been blessed with health, a wonderful family and great friends. We have five children, three of which are married and seven grandchildren. My graduate degree in Human Resource Development led me to a career as an HR Manager in the health care field, however I am now retired. I am active in our church and community, enjoy boating and my new found love Pickleball!
